ICOMPROM ICOM Non-Volatile RAM Module

Having an IC-271A approaching 30 years on the original memory battery, I felt that I was living on borrowed time. I sought a less precarious solution than the original ICOM design and found the ICOMPROM. Order arrived in two days. Installation was quick an easy.

Had a small startup "glitch". E-mailed Chis and he responded quickly - on the weekend, no less. He sent me some instructions to solve the issue and everything is working well. Very pleased to not have to worry any more when turning the 271 on whether it will work or be a "brick"!
