As a hobby, I have 2 GRC (continuous run) 12-inch Standard Electric clocks running off of the house current at home. As well, I am slowly building a small collection of 60's-70's Standard Electric impulse clocks. I purchased my first IMP-22G2, H and from the moment I hooked it to the battery pack, then to my 1958 impulse clock, it was literally plug-in and play. I didn't have to make any adjustments to configure it.
I'm not an electrician by any means, so thankfully, this device immediately went to work and started advancing the minute hand on my 1958 10-inch slave clock without me having to do anything. I used the driver's ADV-SET combination to set the clock to real time and as well, sync the minute hand with one of the GRC sweep hand's "12:00" positions, they have been keeping in perfect alignment ever since.
An excellent, precision product, to be sure!
